The Christmas Tag
It's December 1st which means it's time to get festive!! I've seen other bloggers attempting to do Blogmas and that's what I'd like to have a go with, posting everyday till the 25th or is it till the new year? Either way it will be a task but a fun one i should think. So i thought I'd do the Christmas tag to start off blogmas.
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
ooh, there's so many that i enjoy watching during Christmas time. The Holiday, Disney Christmas Carol, Elf, Santa Claus movies and a new favourite The Christmas Secret (starring Bethany Joy Lenz)
Lately I've loved watching random Christmas movies that are on Channel 5 or Christmas 24
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Always on Christmas morning although we would get our christmassy/wintry pyjama's on Christmas Eve. We would wake up pretty early at 6am to open our presents (that's probably the only time i would wake up early)
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
one Christmas i woke my sister up to go to the bathroom and unbeknown to us, grandad was dressed up as father Christmas putting the presents out (eating the mince pies, drinking a little glass of bailey's) , me and my sister thought it was the actual Santa and we rushed back down to bed because we were so scared that if he saw us we wouldn't get any presents. Thinking back, it just makes me giggle.
4. Favourite festive food?
of course it's the mince pies and Christmas pudding, don't get me wrong i love Christmas dinner but the mince pies and pudding are the best!
5. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
the decorations,spending time with family having a relaxing day, Christmas music/movies. Everyone smiles a lot more and seems a lot happier and relaxed. I love to indulge in the goodies at Christmas. I love it when the music and movie channels put on festive music and movies.
6. What is your favourite make up look for the festive season?
either I'll do my usual makeup routine and add a little christmassy colour or i go au naturale depending on how i feel. Although this year i might decide on wearing makeup, ready for pictures..
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
It's just family time, watching Christmas movies/tele, indulging in the Christmas chocolates and having a glass of wine or a bottle off cider
8. What tops your tree?
a glittery star followed by all the pretty baubles and tinsel. I love decorating the tree, it makes me feel so happy and christmassy
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
A dog. Since i was young i always asked for a dog, i guess i loved the idea (i still do tbh) of opening a box filled with a beautiful dog(s) and crying with joy..
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
spending time with family enjoying the Christmas atmosphere and watching the Christmas tele. Of course we have to blare out Michael Buble's Christmas album. I love entering the room and seeing the tree, thats one thing that makes me smile during christmas with the lights glistening and the presents scattered under the tree (and with any hope, a big snow fall. I love the idea of having a beautiful white christmas)
