Saying Goodbye To My Fur Baby

On 1st March 2016, doggy heaven called for my baby, how do you grieve for a beloved pet? Is there some kind of rulebook or do you just let your feelings pour out and hope you feel better afterwards... If you follow me on twitter and instagram you will know i had to say goodbye to my partner in crime, my best friend, my little angel.. It's weird how an animal can mean so much in such a short space of time, like they become such a big part of your life and all the sudden when they go nothing makes sense.

I miss him so much, he was perfect in every way, i miss his beautiful face, his soft ears, his cute tail, all the little noises he made when he was excited or happy just the things he did including how looked at me like i was the best thing that happened to him. Benson definitely taught me a thing or two such as facing some of my biggest fears and let myself be happy.

I had the joy of being his mummy for just exactly 2 years (or maybe 2 & 1/2) We adopted this little guy on the 28th February 2014 and from then on life with him by my side was amazing. He helped me in more ways than one, he was my supporter, my ultimate best friend, he was with me through my ups and my downs and got me through them.

He has definitely left his paw mark on our hearts, we'll love him always and he'll never be forgotten.
Goodbye to my little prince, you were always making me smile with your little quirks and when i would come home from college you would run to the door to greet me, you were my little cuddle buddy, my best friend and the most sweetest little boy i had the joy of looking after.

i am proud to have been your mummy, goodbye little one, sleep well. Love you always.
